The University of Chicago’s Department of Pathology is searching for part‑time Clinical Associates at 25% effort for renewable terms of up to 1 year. Appointees will be based at UChicago Medicine at Ingalls and will have clinical responsibilities in anatomic and clinical pathology. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is paid per clinic and does not include benefits.
The Department of Pathology at the University of Chicago has a long history of excellence. Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty, physicians, and learners and will have the opportunity to collaborate widely across the Biological Sciences Division (BSD), UChicago Medicine, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:
- have a medical doctorate or equivalent.
- hold or be eligible to hold a medical license in the State of Illinois.
- have board certification in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (with or without an additional subspecialty) through the American Board of Pathology.
- have the ability to carry and maintain CLIA licensure.
Applicants with experience in administration, quality improvement, and lab operations are preferred.
