Job Highlights
Heart Care Centers of Illinois serves over 100,000 patients annually and offers in‑office diagnostic testing and a full line of complex outpatient arterial and venous interventions in our outpatient vascular lab. Advanced services include the following clinics:
Heart Transplant/Artificial Heart, TAVR, Advanced CHF, Pulmonary Hypertension, Venous Insufficiency, Severe Hypertension, and Lipids.

• Full‑time Interventional Cardiologist focused on coronary and “bread‑and‑butter” procedures. Opportunity available for structural and peripheral procedures if physician has interest/training.
• Collegial work environment consisting of 31 cardiologists (16 IC, 5 EP, 2 HF, 8 NI), 8 APPs, and over 200 support staff members.
• Interventional services include:
  • All coronary procedures—diagnostic and interventional
  • Peripheral upper/lower, venous, carotid and aneurysm
  • ASD / PFO closure
  • Structural including TAVR, percutaneous mitral valve repair, percutaneous tricuspid valve repair, left atrial appendage occlusion
• Monday‑Friday schedule.
• Call responsibilities shared equally with the other 16 physicians.
• Position will offer a base salary with additional bonuses and incentives.

Qualifications

• B/C in Cardiovascular Medicine and B/C or B/E in Interventional Cardiology.
• Experience in coronary procedures required. Interest and training in peripheral procedures is a plus.
• Completion of a U.S. accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology program.
• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
