The Department of Medicine Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Miami Health System and University of Miami Leonard Miller School of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist for a full‑time faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor in the clinical educator track. Summaryof job responsibilities
- Direct outpatient and inpatient care to adult patients with endocrine diseases.
- Precepting trainees in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Participate in medical student, resident and fellow education.
- MD/DO Degree
- ACGME US Internal Medicine Internship and Residency
- Completed ACGME US Endocrinology Fellowship
- Valid board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology (or board eligible)
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing), valid DEA Licensure.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
Skills and Abilities
- Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements
- Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
