As a Pediatrician, you will provide a full spectrum of services, including:
- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct health histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for patients.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and meet documentation standards.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Illinois statutes.
- Manage EHR In-Basket and respond to messages promptly.
- Patient Support and
Education:- Provide culturally competent care and involve families in the care process.
- Encourage patients to voice their questions and concerns.
- Conduct patient education activities and ensure understanding of medical conditions.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- MD or DO with board certification in a primary care specialty.
- A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient primary care.
- Current licensure in Illinois and DEA certification.
- Proficiency in electronic health records; EPIC knowledge is a plus.
You will work in a clinical health center environment, where you can expect:
- To engage with diverse patient populations.
- To manage a busy schedule with frequent interactions.
- To utilize various office equipment, including computers and phones.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Guaranteed annual base salary with productivity and quality bonuses.
- A generous sign-on bonus of $30,000 and relocation assistance of $10,000.
- Loan repayment potential through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC).
- 232 hours of paid time off (PTO) per year and paid holidays.
- 40 hours of CME with a $2,000 reimbursement.
