Your RoleAs an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, you will:
- Provide primary healthcare services to women, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and expertise.
- Conduct outpatient consultations and provide inpatient care in collaboration with our Nurse-Midwifery services.
- Participate in quality assurance and health education programs to enhance patient care.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
- Engage in data collection and quality assurance activities to improve our maternity services.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Education: A degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program.
- Certification: Board certification in your specialty or board-eligible status, along with an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a community health center setting, with knowledge of managed care and financial operations.
- Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish, with ACLS certification.
This position involves:
- 20 hours of clinic work and 2-24 hour call shifts per week.
- Compliance with all FQHC standards and participation in staff meetings.
