Academic Physicians – Neonatology
University of Chicago – full‑time faculty rank at any level. Clinical care at Comer Children’s Hospital NICU and contracted off‑site locations.
Salary Range: Assistant Professor: $230,000–$280,000 per year;
Associate Professor: $270,000–$320,000 per year;
Professor: $290,000–$340,000 per year.
Responsibilities: Provide clinical care at UChicago Comer Children’s Hospital NICU, participate in teaching and supervision of trainees and students, conduct scholarly activities, and support the Section’s research and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Medical doctorate (MD/DO) or equivalent.
- Licensure in the states of Illinois and Indiana or eligibility for licensure.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine.
- Experience in quality improvement, ECMO, outcomes research, or structured EMR data analysis is especially welcomed.
- Experience administering or directing level II, III, or IV neonatal intensive care units enhances candidacy.
