The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking four enthusiastic Maternal Fetal Medicine subspecialists ready to become clinical and academic leaders. Position SummaryThe Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus seeks four full‑time Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians to provide comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, and to actively participate in the education and training of residents and medical students.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students.
- Consultative model allowing Maternal Fetal Medicine to attend deliveries if preferred but not required.
- Work collaboratively with Children's Hospital of Illinois and University of Illinois subspecialties.
- Develop and deliver academic presentations.
- Shared call.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- MD or DO.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to teach residents and medical students.
- Interest in academic leadership roles and scholarly activities.
