Description

Rinvio Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in This contract position is an on-site role, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving medical practice that prioritizes patient care and innovative anesthetic solutions.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality anesthetic services to pediatric patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, enhancing patient outcomes through your expertise and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthetics to pediatric patients undergoing surgery
  • Monitor patients  vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
  • Educate patients and their families on anesthesia procedures and safety
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
  • Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and pediatric care
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
  • Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology
  • Experience in pediatric anesthesiology is highly preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthetic techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education

Flexible

Schedule:

8 or 10-hour day or swing shifts

Weeknight and weekend call available

50 anesthetizing locations per day

Case Types:
General, pediatric, or high-acuity neuro cases

Supervision Model: 1:2 in main OR, 1:3 or 1:4 in procedure rooms

Must be willing to supervise and work independently

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
