Salary: $168,000 to $217,200 per year
- Provide clinical services (inpatient mainly and outpatient)
- Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and other health professionals
- Conduct clinical and/or translational research in the field of Pediatric Infectious Disease
- Participate in infection prevention and antibiotic stewardship committees
- Provide phone consultations for other hospitals and pediatric offices in Illinois
- Provide guidance for community outbreaks of infectious diseases such as measles and tuberculosis
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
- MD/DO degree or equivalent
- BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Disease
- Will hold or be eligible for an Illinois physician license
University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria (UICOMP) is one of the three regional campuses of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. UICOMP’s educational programs include 262 medical students and 300 residents/fellows in 29 postgraduate programs, including 23 accredited by the ACGME. The Department of Pediatrics is one of the largest departments at UICOMP and, in collaboration with OSF Health Care Children’s Hospital of Illinois, provides general pediatrics and subspecialty services to the pediatric population in Central Illinois.
