Urgent Care Physician Gage Park, IL

Overview

Health Plus Staffing is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Physician for a practice in Gage Park, IL. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Urgent Care, and walk-in treatments. The Urgent Care Physician will provide medical care to patients in need of immediate attention, as well as provide follow‑up care and referrals.

• Work 12-14 Shifts per month
• Provide medical care to patients in an urgent care setting
• Provide timely, efficient, and compassionate care to patients
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe medications
• Evaluate and manage urgent care cases and emergencies
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses
• Provide follow‑up care and referrals to specialists as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with other healthcare providers
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and other qualifications as applicable

• Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Proficient in performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing medications
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, emergency protocols, and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
• Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
• Current licensure in the state of Illinois and CPR/BLS certification
