Mount Sinai Hospital is seeking a dedicated cardiac anesthesiologist to join their designated Level 1 trauma center in Chicago, IL. In this fast-paced role, the provider will work within a 319-bed facility situated next to Douglass Park, serving a diverse patient population alongside a talented team of surgeons and support staff. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Compensation
- Salary: $460K
- Cardiac Stipend: $25K
- Sign-on bonus: $50K paid in first payroll

Qualifications
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- TEE proficiency is required
- Completion of Cardiac Fellowship
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
