Girl Forward is a community of support dedicated to creating and enhancing opportunities for girls displaced globally by conflict and persecution. We envision a world where all girls are able to access and lead multicultural and intergenerational communities for social change.

Headquartered in Chicago, IL Girl Forward (GF) operates its programs at its center in Chicago, IL, and through school-based partnerships in Austin, TX. We are currently serving 200 girls ages 14-22 through mentorship, education and safe spaces programs. Girls in our community have come to the US through refugee resettlement, asylum process, or other immigration channels, and represent over 40 countries of origin.

Girl Forward is looking for an Education Program Manager to join our team full-time in Chicago. This position is focused on managing the day-to-day operations of the year-round educational programming at Girl Forward, including virtual tutoring nationally, in-person tutoring in Chicago, school-based group work, and Camp Girl Forward in the summer. They are responsible for recruitment, screening, training, monitoring, and supporting volunteer tutors;

implementing and improving curriculum; cultivating relationships with community based organizations and school personnel; and building relationships with the community while exploring themes of identity, power, and community are integral to success in this role. This position reports directly to the Director of Programs and Operations to set programmatic vision, goals, and impact objectives.
