As a Cosmetology Teacher, you will educate, inspire, and mentor students in the art and science of cosmetology. You will deliver engaging lessons while conducting practical demonstrations that enhance students understanding and skills. Your guidance will help students master techniques and prepare for their future careers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide practical hands-on training in various cosmetology techniques
- Assess student performance, offering constructive feedback to facilitate improvement
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Collaborate with staff to uphold educational standards and student success
- Monitor classroom compliance with health and safety regulations

- Active Cosmetology License in the State of Illinois
- Previous experience in the cosmetology field
- Teaching or instructional experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Hours:
Monday through Friday 5:00pm-10:00pm CST

Salary:
The expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00/hr actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
