Infant Teacher role at Open Space Schools

We are currently seeking a Full‑Time Infant Teacher to join our team!

- Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans using the philosophy at Open Space
- Meeting the individual needs of every child by interacting with them to encourage and support play, exploration, and learning
- Collaborating with families to create inclusive and culturally relevant classroom and curriculum
- Providing a fun, welcoming, warm and safe classroom environment
- Completing assessments quarterly for each child and documenting and maintaining children’s portfolios
- Professional daily interactions and active communication with children, co‑workers, and parents
- Meeting and following requirements of all licensing agencies
- High School Diploma or GED for Assistant Teachers
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related area for Lead Teachers with 6 credits in Early Childhood
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Proof of TB Test, TDAP, 2 doses of MMR and immunizations
- Proof of Covid vaccination
- Physical:
Obtain new Food Handlers Training Certificate - 1+ years of experience in an early childhood environment
- Must meet and follow all additional City and State licensing requirements
