Position Summary

Under the joint supervision of the School Principal and the Senior Director for Evangelization, the Coordinator of Campus and Youth Ministry is responsible for cultivating a vibrant, research-informed faith community on campus.

This role seamlessly integrates robust campus ministry with a comprehensive youth ministry program—spanning from 6th grade through high school—to nurture the spiritual development of students, teachers and parents.

In addition, the Coordinator is charged with supporting the spiritual growth of parents by planning and implementing dedicated programs such as Alpha and Beta courses, and by providing strong support for Sunday Children’s Church.

This dynamic role combines program development, leadership, and ongoing evaluation to ensure ministry initiatives are effective and aligned with Saint Clement’s Catholic identity.

Primary Responsibilities I. Faith Community and Campus Ministry Community Formation:
  • Create and sustain an atmosphere of Christian hospitality that welcomes students, faculty, staff, and parents—grounded in Catholic traditions and rituals.
  • Develop and coordinate campus-wide spiritual initiatives and sacramental opportunities (e.g., school masses, family liturgies) that actively engage the community in the sacramental life of the Church.
  • Organize and lead retreats, seasonal prayer experiences, and opportunities for communal and personal prayer that reinforce faith development for all community members.
  • Train and support liturgical ministers, including servers, lectors, and extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist.
II. Youth Ministry Program Program Leadership and Coordination:
  • Design, coordinate, lead, and evaluate youth ministry programs for students from 6th grade through high school, using research-based best practices to enhance program quality and relevance.
  • Collaborate with youth ministry staff, volunteers, and the broader ministry team to organize retreats, small group sessions, service projects, and social events that foster spiritual growth and fellowship.
Youth Formation:
  • Ensure that youth ministry programming is responsive to the diverse needs of pre-adolescents and adolescents, providing opportunities for faith formation, leadership development, and community service.
  • Assess program effectiveness through regular feedback, evaluations, and ongoing research in youth ministry trends.
III. Parental and Family Ministry Spiritual Growth of Parents:
  • Develop and facilitate targeted programs for parents that enhance their spiritual growth and equip them to support their children’s faith journeys.
  • Coordinate parent-focused initiatives, including the planning and execution of Alpha, Beta, and similar courses, fostering a robust framework for family discipleship.
Sunday Children’s Church Support:
  • Co-lead Sunday Children’s Church programming to create a nurturing environment for younger learners as part of a cohesive family ministry approach.
IV. Discipleship and Social Outreach Education and Formation:
  • Encourage faculty, staff, and parents to embrace their call as missionary disciples by providing ongoing educational opportunities related to Catholic identity and spiritual formation.
  • Support teachers’ formation on key topics that reinforce critical aspects of the Catholic faith and the mission of Saint Clement School.
Social Justice Integration:
  • Work in partnership with the Director of Outreach to infuse social justice principles—such as human dignity, peace, and stewardship of creation—into ministry programs and service opportunities for the entire community.
V. Prayer and Sacramental Experience Liturgical Coordination:
  • Plan and coordinate a variety of liturgical celebrations, including weekly school masses, Sunday family masses, and special services during Advent and Lent.
  • Organize training sessions for all students and…
