Mathematics Teacher
Contract Term: January 6, 2026 – June 30, 2026 (with option to renew)
Role OverviewOur Lady of Tepeyac High School is an all-girls Catholic school. Teachers serve as professional educators and role models, supporting our mission to empower young women through faith, education, and leadership. Teachers report directly to the principal and follow the policies of the Archdiocese of Chicago and Our Lady of Tepeyac High School.
The Mathematics Teacher will teach the following courses:- Geometry (10th Grade) – 2 sections
- Role can be considered for part time or full time.
- Lead a small, all-girls Formation Group focused on personal development topics such as goal setting, stress management, and communication, fostering confidence and leadership skills.
- Outside duty: Supervise before or after school (once a week).
- Lunch supervision: Support a positive, safe lunch environment (once a week).
- Club moderation: Lead or assist a student club (once a month).
- Tutoring: Provide targeted support for students with a D/F in core subjects (2 times a week).
- Coaching opportunities: Available for those interested in supporting athletics.
- Support student formation: Encourage students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth — preparing them for college and beyond.
- Embrace Tepeyac’s mission: Uphold the school’s mission, policies, and procedures, ensuring a supportive, faith-filled environment.
- Professional development: Attend meetings, and engage in ongoing professional growth opportunities.
- Classroom leadership: Maintain student records and ensure a safe, organized, and engaging classroom.
- Active participation: Join school events, religious activities, and performance reviews — contributing to our vibrant, supportive community.
- Bachelor’s degree (required) and valid state teaching license (preferred).
- Compliance with Archdiocese safe environment training.
- Commitment to empowering young women in a diverse, faith-driven community.
