Position Information
Job Title: Automotive Technology Instructor (Full‑time, Tenure‑Track Faculty) – 2 positions

Work Location: Main Campus
Duties: Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; communicate with the department chair or administrator. Duties include various faculty responsibilities and, preferred, the role of program coordinator.
Education / Experience: Minimum AAS degree in automotive technology. ASE certifications in A1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, and G1 (or ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician) required with 2000 hours of relevant work experience.
Preferred: BS degree and/or five years teaching experience; ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician (A1‑A8); ASE Certified Advanced Engine Performance Specialist (L1).
Qualifications: Excellent communication skills; experience performing drivability diagnostics on automobiles; prior teaching experience focusing on automotive performance and drivability. The ideal candidate will maintain the highest standards for classroom instruction, apply innovative teaching methods, and work effectively with students at all skill levels.
Position Status: Full Time;
Hours: To be determined;
Salary: $58,623–$71,670 (Base Load is 15 ECH)
