Special Education Teacher (LBS1) – $55/hr – Oak Park, Chicago, IL – Full‑Time

We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (LBS1) to provide quality services to high school students in a self‑contained classroom. This role involves teaching all subjects, supporting students with social‑emotional and behavioral needs, and collaborating with paraprofessionals and behavior techs.

• Caseload:
  Self‑contained classroom with social‑emotional and behavioral needs
• Support:
  Paraprofessional and behavior tech in each classroom

• Valid Illinois teaching certificate with LBS1 endorsement
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Prior experience in special education classroom preferred
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
