• Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in grades K–12 (focus on high school caseload).

• Collaborate with general education staff to ensure successful inclusion and individualized learning plans.

• Serve as a Special Education Case Manager, leading IEP development and implementation.

• Monitor student progress, prepare IEP report cards, and maintain compliance documentation.

• Coordinate schedules for students and staff based on LRE grids.

• Step in to cover classes when needed.

• Maintain strong communication with families.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).

• Certification:
  Valid state teaching certificate (Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement required).

• Experience:
  
  At least one year in a teaching environment (preferred).

• CPR certification (if applicable).

• TB screening and health certificate per state regulations.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

• Minimum age: 18.
