Special Education Case Manager – High School

What You’ll DoProvide high-quality instruction and support to students in grades K–12 (focus on high school caseload).
Collaborate with general education staff to ensure successful inclusion and individualized learning plans.
Serve as a Special Education Case Manager, leading IEP development and implementation.
Monitor student progress, prepare IEP report cards, and maintain compliance documentation.
Coordinate schedules for students and staff based on LRE grids.
Step in to cover classes when needed.
Maintain strong communication with families.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).Certification:
Valid state teaching certificate (Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement required).Experience:
At least one year in a teaching environment (preferred).
CPR certification (if applicable).
TB screening and health certificate per state regulations.
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
Minimum age: 18.
