EDU Healthcare is supporting a K-4 Special Education (LBS1)/Diverse Learner role in Chicago! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? Then join an A+ team with EDU.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Modify general education curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Provide specialized instruction in one‑on‑one and small group settings
  • Track student progress and update IEPs throughout the school year
  • Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
  • Active state‑level licensure or certification (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Previous experience working in schools or with children preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Work in a structured, school‑based setting with built‑in school holidays
