Position Summary:

CJDS is seeking reliable and caring Part-Time Substitute Teachers to support classrooms in

grades Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade. Substitutes will be called on an as-needed

basis and will work in collaboration with teaching teams to ensure a smooth continuation of

the classroom experience during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement lesson plans left by the classroom teacher

* Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment

* Monitor student behavior and support student learning

* Communicate any issues or updates to school leadership as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Prior experience working with children, ideally in a classroom setting

* Strong classroom management and communication skills

* Ability to follow written lesson plans and support students in staying on task

* Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude

* Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

* Knowledge of Hebrew or Judaism is not required

Salary/Benefits

Schedule & Compensation:

* This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible scheduling based on school needs

* Compensation is offered at an hourly rate
