Position: 2nd Grade Teacher - 2025/2026 School Year (North Kenwood/Oakland Campus)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher to deliver ambitious instruction in a classroom that not only incorporates evidence-based analysis of practice in order to assure that all students can achieve at high levels, but also provides a stimulating, challenging, and productive learning environment. Individual will work with the Campus Director, Instructional Coaches, and colleagues to implement the school's literacy framework and Everyday Math program.

Qualifications:

Applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in education and appropriate state licensure, at least 2 years of urban teaching experience in related field and proven program planning and development experience. Applicant will be an excellent teacher of students, reflective and receptive to professional feedback and coaching, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Pay Range: $51,500.00 - $65,000.00

The included pay rate or range represents the University of Chicago Charter School's good faith estimate of the possible compensation offer for this role at the time of posting. The salary will be commensurate of years of experience and education.
