Adjunct Welding Instructor to start as soon as possible.
Days and times to be determined.
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications- Associate degree or diploma in subject area or AWS certification.* (IEMT degree will count), OR completion of a DOL recognized apprenticeship in steamfitters‑plumbers, boilermakers, iron workers, millwrights, or sheet metal, pipe fitters (with relevant material experience).
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
- Teaching experience.
