QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Be able to demonstrate the academic progress of students under your leadership and articulate the methods used to achieve those results
• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based language acquisition strategies, WIDA Language Development Standards, Common Core Standards
• Cultural competency and ability to move comfortably in a diverse community
• Fluent in Spanish with the ability to instruct students in English and Spanish with speed and accuracy
• Possess valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or equivalent (required)
• Possess valid Illinois K-12 Bilingual Education - Spanish (BSPA) endorsement or equivalent (required)
• Residency in Chicago not required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (required)
