English Second Language Teacher

This is a part-time remote role for an English Second Language Teacher at Dayou School. The teacher will design and deliver engaging online lessons for K-12 learners, focusing on English as a second language and adapting instruction to varied proficiency levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include lesson planning, teaching live classes, assigning and assessing homework, providing constructive feedback, and tracking student progress. The role also involves preparing students for standardized English exams such as IELTS and other relevant assessments, using interactive methods and digital tools.

The teacher will collaborate with other educators, participate in regular meetings, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

• Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills, with experience instructing K-12 learners.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Teaching skills, including the ability to design structured, engaging, and level-appropriate ESL lessons.
• Candidates should possess IELTS-related teaching experience, with familiarity in exam formats, strategies, and preparation techniques.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field, and TESOL/TEFL certification are highly beneficial.
• Additional beneficial skills include online teaching experience, strong classroom management in virtual settings, clear communication, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to support diverse learners.
