Solar Programs, Associate – Application Processing (Hybrid - Chicago, IL, Oakland, CA, Portland, OR - US)
Join Energy Solutions as a member of the Distributed Energy Resources (DERS) team. In this hybrid role you will assist in driving customer participation in programs that incentivize distributed and community solar. The position requires a minimum of one week on site at one of our offices (Chicago, Oakland, or Portland).
Responsibilities- Process complex project applications according to documented standard operating procedures.
- Track progress of work assignments, including work to be done and work completed.
- Provide professional written communication/questions to customers who have submitted applications.
- Communicate with other team members and supervisors using collaboration tools to resolve application questions.
- Maintain a high degree of efficiency and accuracy while under time constraints.
- Participate in team meetings and complete regular training sessions to expand program knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 2 years of related work experience).
- Strong written communication skills (verbal skills a plus).
- Computer literate with experience in MS Office Suite. Salesforce experience a plus.
Salary range: $60,000–$70,000/annually with a target compensation of $66,500/annually based on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, pre‑tax contribution plans, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and a generous retirement package.

OfficeLocations and Remote Workforce
Energy Solutions operates a predominantly remote workforce with offices in six locations. Employees who live within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in‑office attendance requirements may vary by team.
