Base pay range$30.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Duration: 12 Months contract (Possibility of Extension or Perm)
Shift: Morning shift: 7 to 8:30 am start, 8 hr. shift
Note: Windchill Experience is highly preferred.
JOB SUMMARYThe Change Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating engineering data changes through the Enterprise Change Request (ECR) process. This role ensures proper release and update of engineering data, facilitates clear communication with cross‑functional teams, and oversees the approval and implementation of enterprise changes. The Change Coordinator will provide engineering support, leadership, and technical responsibility for assigned projects while occasionally accessing the factory (up to 2 times a week) to follow up on projects or locate products.
Windchill experience is highly preferred, and prior experience as a Change Coordinator in an engineering or manufacturing company is strongly desired.
- Coordinate and support technical data changes through the ECR process using PLM software
- Work with engineering leadership, consulting engineers, project engineers, marketing, production, quality, purchasing, and vendors on product improvement and cost reduction projects
- Apply sound engineering principles to assess designs, create and manage bills of materials, perform 3D modeling, assembly, analysis, and documentation
- Oversee construction of assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and components; conduct quality testing
- Provide programming logic for bill of material generation through a configurator application
- Demonstrate experience working with cross‑functional teams
- Support projects and teams related to Engineering Systems applications
- Create and revise engineering documentation to reflect current practices and procedures
- Manage shifting priorities with strong multi‑tasking and time‑management skills
- Follow PPE requirements when accessing the factory
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience as a Change Coordinator in an engineering or manufacturing company
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Pro‑E/CREO, PDMLink, and Configured Product tools
- Familiarity with PLM systems, CAD systems, project/content management systems, and IT system integrations
- General knowledge of engineering and manufacturing operations (production control, quality control, industrial engineering)
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (casting, machining, stamping, 3D models)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and collaborative interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
- Good understanding of business processes and the ability to map and integrate them into effective systems
- PPE compliance when visiting the factory
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–2 years of experience in a product, project, or support engineer role in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with valves, pumps, electric motors, and other electro‑mechanical products
- Production and/or Support Engineering experience
- Strong experience with electro‑mechanical devices and fluid applications
- Experience with pressure‑containing vessel design and valves
- 3D CAD software expertise (Pro/E, Creo preferred)
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management software (Windchill preferred)
- Working knowledge of MS Project
- Experience working with global teams across time zones
- Familiarity with HVAC processes and equipment
- Experience working with regulatory/listing agencies (UL, FM, CSA, CE mark)
- One or more years of experience in the use of PTC Windchill and Creo Parametric (including Creo Simulate)
- Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
