Our Design Studio team, in our Chicago office, is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer. This role will support our engineering team in staying focused on our mission of delivering high-quality projects.

Do more than just build! Our Mechanical Engineers execute the design of HVAC systems involved in building construction projects. In this position, we will rely on Mechanical Engineers to assist senior engineers on project-related tasks while they learn and advance their skills.

• Drafting, calculations, and designing system components under supervision.
• Assist senior engineers to complete calculations, studies reports, and drawings.

• Operate BIM Software.
• Read and understand construction documents, floor plans, and equipment details.
• Operate computer software such as Microsoft Office programs to perform engineering tasks.
• Assist in the design of HVAC systems under supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.
• Perform load calculations under the supervision of a senior engineer.

• Minimum Education:
  
  B.S. degree in a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Basic engineering or construction background.

• E.I.T.
• Completion of an Internship in an MEP Consulting firm.

• Ability to multi-task by working on multiple overlapping projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to maintain professional, polite, and prompt communication.
• Motivated self-starter and fast learner committed to learning on the job and personal self-development.
