We're looking for a Capex Estimator to join a global leader in clean energy solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong cost estimating and budget management experience to contribute to utility-scale renewable energy projects and other large infrastructure developments.

What You'll Do:
- Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates for wind, solar, transmission, and industrial projects.
- Work across multiple cost categories and budgets
, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. - Analyze project plans, perform quantity take-offs, and assess contractor/subcontractor proposals.
- Track and report on market trends including materials, labor, and commodity pricing.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate pricing and scope.
- Support bid processes and RFP development.
- Assist during construction phases with cost control, change order evaluation, and budget tracking.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimating, with at least 1-2 years completing full-cycle projects
. - Experience working with actual pricing data and cost control processes.
- Familiarity with commercial estimating tools (e.g., Timberline/SageCRE, Quick Bid, RSMeans).
- Strong understanding of construction methods and market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in utility-scale renewable energy is a plus, but we also welcome candidates from O&G electrical or industrial construction backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
AutoCAD experience is a bonus. - Willingness to travel 10-20% (domestic/international).
- Valid driver's license;
Spanish fluency is a plus.
Work Environment: Downtown Chicago office with coffee, snacks, and fitness center access

Schedule:
3 days in-office, 2 days remote + early Fridays (3 p.m. cut-off)
