We are seeking experienced RAN Field Engineers to support critical 5G network upgrades in the Chicago market. This role is essential for ensuring seamless deployment and optimization of next-generation wireless infrastructure.

As a RAN Field Engineer, you will be at the forefront of 5G technology implementation, working on-site to perform baseband swaps and small cell installations. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of telecom professionals and contribute to projects that enhance connectivity for millions of users. This position offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge Ericsson and Verizon technologies, making it an excellent opportunity for engineers passionate about wireless innovation and field operations.

• Execute 5G baseband (BB) swaps and small cell installations in the field
• Perform site surveys, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RAN equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during installations
• Collaborate with network teams to validate configurations and performance
• Document work activities and provide accurate reporting to project managers

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in RAN field engineering or similar role
• Proven hands‑on experience with small cell deployments
• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G technologies and RAN architecture
• Ability to work independently in outdoor and on‑site environments
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

• Experience with Ericsson RAN equipment
• Familiarity with Verizon network standards
• Certifications such as Ericsson Certified Professional or equivalent
• Knowledge of fiber connectivity and backhaul solutions
• Proficiency in using field testing tools and software
