Overview
Epstein is seeking a new graduate Civil Transportation Design Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive and will have experience specific to transportation (IDOT, CDOT, Tollway, municipalities) and roadways. Experience with Microstation including CONNECT edition and Open Road Designer is preferred. This position requires candidates to design innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements and application codes.

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure/certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually.

Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 0-3 years of successful design experience within a consulting engineering firm
- Knowledge of Illinois Department of Transportation or Illinois Tollway design standards, procedures and specifications is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microstation, including CONNECT and Open Roads Design is a plus
- Awareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of design
- Strong analytical skills; knowledge of analysis methods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
