Service Engineer – Remanufacturing Business
The Service Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving, and working with the quality process to minimize the downtime of our remanufactured construction equipment products. The role provides feedback to our global manufacturing headquarters (located in Japan) on trends and patterns of construction equipment that may be related to North American market applications or product quality (e.g., defect in material/workmanship). The Service Engineer works with the Quality team to investigate root causes of failures and implement countermeasures to ensure product quality, determining whether defects stem from material or workmanship or from end‑user error.
The Engineer also troubleshoots failures, using analytical and problem‑solving skills to review failure trends and determine root causes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures.
