, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and optimizing large‑scale renewable energy projects. Your expertise will drive critical decisions on site development, grading, drainage, and structural integrity—ensuring projects are efficient, sustainable, and built to last.
- Lead impactful design reviews: evaluate SWPPP documents, hydrology studies, and civil structural design packages for compliance and optimization.
- Drive value engineering: analyze conceptual site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and roadway plans to enhance performance and reduce costs.
- Collaborate across teams: partner with Project Engineering to review RFP packages and select top‑tier consultants.
- Ensure structural excellence: assess foundations, PV racking systems, and miscellaneous structures for safety and efficiency.
- Technical expertise: proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and core civil engineering principles.
- Experience:
5+ years in civil/site development, grading, and drainage. - Knowledge: familiarity with UBC, IBC, EC, ISO codes and ASCE, ASTM, AWS standards.
- Education:
bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Water Resources Engineering.
- On‑site engineering experience.
- Expertise in SWPPP design and implementation.
- Ability to deliver optimized engineering packages for large‑scale projects.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 – $85.00/hr.
