The
** Sr. SMT Lean Engineer
** acts with respect and integrity, maintains a constant customer focus, and works with agility to adapt to changes. They foster collaboration and teamwork, promote innovation, and stay motivated to achieve impactful results.
** About Your Role:**
* ** 20%
** Apply lean principles to plant processes to identify and eliminate waste and improve site performance based on operational metrics, including but not limited to:
People and Sustainability, Lead Time / Delivery / Flow (Growth), Quality / Capacity and Cost / Productivity
* ** 10%
** Create a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization through training and development of all associates.
* ** 20%
** Organize, lead, and act as facilitator in kaizen events for continuous improvement in alignment with the management team.
* ** 10%
** Implement, participate in, and follow up on improvement ideas with salary and hourly teams.
* ** 20%
** Develop and collaborate on company layouts, implementing tools such as 6S, Kanban, line balancing, and restructuring the company to improve the work environment.
* ** 20%
** Support production in problem-solving and system implementation.

* About You:
*** 5 years of experience.
* Management skills (ability to lead others).
* Six Sigma certified (at least Green Belt).
* English proficiency: 70%.
* Experience handling charts, histograms, Pareto diagrams, Gantt charts, etc.
* Ability to read blueprints (Geometric Tolerances) and layouts.
* Experience in project management.
* Knowledge of Lean tools (Kanban, Kaizen, 6S, Line Balancing, SMED, Flow).
* ** PLUS:
** Six Sigma Green Belt.
