Principal Engineer

• Conduct field investigations, analysis, and design.
• Interact with clients and other design and construction professionals.
• Conduct forensic investigations and provide litigation support as expert witness.
• Perform business development tasks and develop a book of business.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Location:

Chicago, IL | Salary: $160,000 – $220,000 annually.

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree;
  Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
• Professional licensure/registration in IL required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and computer‑aided analysis/design of structures; BIM experience is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to attend site meetings and investigations.
• Ability to bring existing clients and a book of work to help grow the Chicago office. Service sectors such as Infrastructure, Transportation, Geotechnical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Structural Dynamics are highly considered.
