Job OverviewHybrid arrangement: three days in office, two days remote.
Responsibilities- Design nuclear power plant systems, including modification packages for operating plants
- Prepare functional mechanical drawings and drawings for nuclear plant systems
- Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation
- Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment
- Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment
- Study and evaluate options for modifications to operating nuclear power plants
- Develop engineering cost estimates for small to mid‑sized scopes
- Visit client office or plant sites for presentations and interfacing
- Lead engineering project teams

- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience or an MS degree
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design of nuclear power plants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
