My client, a trusted leader in engineered‑to‑order material handling equipment, is looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for complex capital equipment and automation projects.

This is a full‑time role with on‑site presence and a flexible arrangement which is ideal for an engineer who enjoys cross‑disciplinary collaboration and tackling real‑world control system challenges.

• Competitive Salary range: $80,000-$100,000 based on experience, education, skills and qualifications

• Design electrical controls, wiring diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD
• Develop control panel layouts, PLC logic, and system documentation
• Select components including motors, drives, relays, HMIs, and sensors
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production teams, and customers
• Support assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment on‑site
• Maintain alignment with industry codes (UL, NEC, NFPA
  79, etc.)

• Be able to do the job as described
• Bachelor’s degree Electrical required
• Experience designing and programming industrial control systems
• Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical and PLC platforms (Allen‑Bradley preferred)
• Comfortable working with high voltage equipment and motor controls
• Strong communication skills and ability to support shop floor and field teams
