Job Overview

Hybrid arrangement: three days in office, two days remote.

Responsibilities
  • Design nuclear power plant systems, including modification packages for operating plants
  • Prepare functional mechanical drawings and drawings for nuclear plant systems
  • Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation
  • Develop technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment
  • Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment
  • Study and evaluate options for modifications to operating nuclear power plants
Additional Opportunities
  • Develop engineering cost estimates for small to mid‑sized scopes
  • Visit client office or plant sites for presentations and interfacing
  • Lead engineering project teams
Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience or an MS degree
  • Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations for mechanical design of nuclear power plants
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range

$66,000.00 – $94,810.00
