Technology Designer

Overview

A leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm is looking to add a Technology Designer to their team!

• Convert system design concepts into specific layouts
• Interpret information from various sources including design documents, user inputs, and field surveys
• Design Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a built environment
• Lead the design for ICT projects
• Utilize strong Revit proficiency in ICT systems and infrastructure design
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals

• 5+ years of experience designing ICT systems in a built environment, building technology, or electrical consulting firm
• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience with ICT systems and infrastructure including budgets, capabilities, and options
• Experience in horizontal cabling, copper backbone, and fiber backbone
• Understanding of wireless access points, physical security systems, and audio-visual systems

• RCDD certification is beneficial
• Experience in construction documents and technology engineering

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $72.12/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Chicago,IL.
