Plant Vehicle Team Engineer

Overview:
As a Plant Vehicle Team Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in analyzing and improving vehicle quality throughout the production process. This position involves hands‑on problem‑solving, data analysis, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure exceptional product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze incoming warranty claims and customer feedback to identify patterns and root causes.
• Conduct plant floor investigations and develop Interim Containment Actions (ICA) and Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA).
• Support assembly operations with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, campaigns, audits, and quality initiatives.
• Maintain Vehicle Functional Group (VFG) quality documentation and drive achievement of quality targets.
• Lead engineering commodity changes for future minor product launches.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address quality concerns and implement running changes.
• Issue engineering alerts and pursue product changes to meet quality objectives.
• Present findings and updates to leadership during weekly reviews and quality meetings.

Required Skills:

• Microsoft Excel: Ability to analyze data and identify warranty trends.
• CAD: Proficiency in loading and reviewing part interfaces for root cause analysis.

Experience:

• Required:
  
  Design and problem‑solving experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred:
  Automotive industry experience.

Education:

• Required:
