Position DescriptionThe CS Sales Engineer, part of the Customer Service department, develops and quotes solutions for modifications, upgrades, and improvements to end‑of‑line systems and product handling for E80 customers. This role bridges the commercial and technical‑production functions.
Duties and Responsibilities- Produce mechanical layouts, electrical schematics, functional descriptions, quotations, and contracts.
- Collaborate with the Technical Department to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Coordinate with other sales engineers and senior leads to ensure solution feasibility and documentation accuracy.
- Attend on‑site meetings to gather information and support the Account Manager in presenting proposals.
- Analyze customer data to develop cost‑effective modifications and upgrades.
- Create layout modifications in AutoCAD to illustrate proposed solutions.
- Utilize technical data and various sources to identify appropriate solutions.
- Complete documentation for the internal order management process.
- Develop pricing for internal project profitability evaluation and discuss scenarios with the sales team.
- Prepare bid packages including material flows, functional descriptions, proposals, and presentations to communicate solutions and investment to the client.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or closely related field).
- 2+ years of experience.
- Strong technical background in electrical‑mechanical or software development.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2004 or newer and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
$80K – $90K DOE (FLSA Exempt).
