CSEngineering is looking to add a Senior Healthcare Architect to our growing team! This position will support design and construction activities at an active VA medical facility. The SA/E will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with VA standards, and oversee multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery, requiring construction management support at its major medical institution.

• Provide senior‑level architectural and/or engineering oversight for design and construction projects within an active medical facility environment
• Ensure full compliance with VA Design Manuals, Technical Information Library (TIL), and VA specifications
• Review and interpret construction contract documents, including front‑end documents, technical specifications, and drawings
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local authorities to ensure regulatory and jurisdictional compliance
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and project planning activities to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery
• Provide technical guidance related to engineering services, building codes, and construction best practices
• Supervise, manage, and mentor personnel with diverse technical skill sets
• Support coordination among stakeholders, contractors, and government representatives to ensure project success

• Licensed Professional Architect or Professional Engineer (PE)
• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited institution or Bachelor of Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of combined design and construction experience within active medical facilities
• Demonstrated experience working on VA Medical Center projects.
• Strong working knowledge of VA Design Manuals, Specifications, and TIL.
• Proven ability to quickly understand and apply state and federal jurisdictional requirements
• In‑depth understanding of construction contract documents, drawings, and specifications
• Strong knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Must be a United States Citizen
