We are looking for a Land Development Project Engineer to join a growing civil engineering team in Chicago.
You will support the delivery of land development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction, working closely with project managers, clients, municipalities, contractors and design teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support civil engineering and land development projects.
- Assist with grading, drainage, stormwater and utility design.
- Prepare and review engineering plans and technical documents.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors and consultants.
- Support permitting and regulatory approvals.
- Assist with project schedules, budgets and deliverables.
- Work with Project Managers and senior engineers on project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections as required.
- 5+ years of civil engineering or land development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience with site development, grading, drainage or utilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- EIT certification or PE track.
- Experience with Civil 3D.
- Experience with commercial, residential or industrial land development.
- Experience working with municipalities and permitting agencies.
