Senior Project Engineer - Collection Systems

An established engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their Chicago team, working across wastewater collection system projects and supporting clients with the planning, design and improvement of their infrastructure.

• Lead and support the design of wastewater collection system projects
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports and technical deliverables
• Manage project tasks, schedules and budgets
• Work closely with clients, contractors and internal project teams
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
• Support field investigations and assessment of existing collection systems

• BSc in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience

• Experience with wastewater collection systems and sewer infrastructure
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design
• Experience working with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong technical, communication and organisational skills
• Experience with relevant engineering design software
