This internship role will consist of an overall design experience. We are a group of architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, BMS controls designers, and programmers that design projects to support various facilities in our portfolio. Examples include laboratories, offices, site infrastructure and vivarium / specialty spaces.

• Plans and conduct small to medium-size projects with design specialty requiring conventional types of plans, investigations and equipment.
• Coordinates and monitors design activities and reports on progress to upper management.
• Leads design discussions for planning purposes.
• Gain knowledge of overall industry & Abb Vie specifications / standards.
• Gain knowledge of various building components such as HVAC equipment, electrical distribution systems, building materials, etc.
• Create project estimates for front end planning and budget purposes.
• Present to the staff leaders, managers, and mentors the achievements of the assigned projects as well as the main experiences gained during the program.

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing aBA/BS in architecture or mechanical, electrical, BMS controls engineering.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027and May 2028
• Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship.
• Strong academic performance. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and extra-curricular achievements.
• Excellent Communication, Teamwork, Problem-solving, and Time Management skills
• Self-motivated with little direction

• Experience with AutoCAD or drawing software, Excel, Power Point & AI knowledge

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
