Talent Acquisition & Editorial Support
- Maintain an active network of publicists, talent reps, publishers, creators, and industry contacts to source guests quickly.
- Proactively pitch Topstep
TV as a platform for talent, experts, authors, analysts, and cultural personalities. - Monitor editorial calendars, political cycles, market events, and cultural moments to generate timely guest ideas.
- Collaborate with Trader Support, Social, and the Director of Brand Partnerships & Talent to identify personalities within the Topstep ecosystem for on‑camera opportunities.
- Conduct pre‑interviews to surface story arcs, key quotes, and anecdotes.
- Identify potential editorial risks, including controversies, legal issues, or reputation concerns, and elevate when necessary.
Talent Negotiation & Booking
- Secure commitments from talent and their representatives, including confirming appearance type (interview, demo, conversation).
- Negotiate terms of appearance: segment framing, talking points, logistics, deliverables, and promotional restrictions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between production and external talent teams, ensuring information flows cleanly and quickly.
- Provide real‑time updates to producers regarding delays, concerns, energy levels, schedule changes, or special requirements.
- 10+ years of experience in booking, talent relations, editorial production, or a related media role.
- Strong network of publicists, reps, authors, experts, analysts, and emerging talent.
- Sharp editorial instincts – able to identify what (and who) makes a strong segment.
- Experience negotiating appearance terms and managing sensitive or high‑profile relationships.
- Ability to track multiple cultural cycles: business, markets, news, politics, entertainment, and online trends.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to relay editorial needs and production requirements clearly.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple bookings simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital‑first production and the expectations of on‑air and social‑native content.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.

- $120,000–$140,000

This position is eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. - The compensation offered will take into account internal compensation structure and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
