Senior Project Manager

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Light & Wonder team. The person will manage the Game Development Projects in Chicago Illinois related to the Class 3 Gaming markets that Light & Wonder provides software for. They will report into the Sr. Director position.

The Project Management function specializes in leading a team, typically cross-functional, to achieve project goals and requirements. Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project; manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks and other constraints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Works directly with multiple development leads and external Operations/Service teams.

* Develops detailed development schedules for assigned projects.

* Conducts regular status meetings and daily stand-ups with the Dev and Quality teams.

* Tracks, monitors and reports project progress.

* Responsible for the effective internal and external communication of information related to projects.

* Creates presentations and generates metric reports/charts for upper management.

This is an hybrid role, 3 days a week in office based at our studio in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

* A minimum of 5 years operations, product or project management experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

* Ability to multi-task anywhere from 15-30 projects per week.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret gaming rules and regulations.

* Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external personnel.

* Excellent inter-personal and team building skills.

* Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management.

* Knowledge of project management tools and processes.

* Knowledge and understanding of project budgeting.

* Knowledge of Oracle's Agile PLM product and Oracle ERP.

* General knowledge of Class 3 Gaming architecture and ancillary components preferred.

* Ability to motivate others.
