- Concept & Asset Creation:
Design characters/ enemies, environments, props, buildings or other environment asset that fit the game’s established visual style. - Illustrations:
Paint promotional materials or render icons when needed - Collaboration:
Work closely with art lead, narrative and game designers to ensure smooth asset integration into the game engine. - Feedback & Revisions:
Iterate on artwork based on feedback from the Lead Artist or Art Director while meeting production schedules. - Style Adaptation:
Maintain visual consistency across different genres, projects, or brand guidelines.
- Portfolio: A strong, updated digital portfolio showing solid fundamentals in anatomy, color theory, composition, and lighting.
- Software Proficiency:
Proficiency of industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Clip Studio Paint and Illustrator, with bonus knowledge in Spine. - Education & Experience:
A degree in Fine Arts, Design, or equivalent practical experience; typically requires 3+ years for mid-level. - Soft Skills:
Clear communication, openness to constructive feedback, time management, and a collaborative team attitude.
