Base pay range$45,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

ABOC is hiring a Tax Specialist
. The individual in this position will serve as a tax specialist remitting, filing and maintaining various revenue regulatory reports within the Institutional Trust area.
- Responsible for ensuring that all federal withholding and state withholding is remitted per payment cycle timely.
- Responsible for filing regulatory reports as outlined by state and federal regulations.
- Support the reconciliation and processing of various tax forms (1099R’s, 1099 INT, 1099 Misc.)
- Reconcile monthly federal and state reconciliation
- Coordinates delivery of tax reports for Personal Trust and various trust clients with their tax professionals.
- Keeps abreast of related issues and new developments, policies and laws concerning state and federal changes affecting employee benefits through review of various publications and materials.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma with a minimum of two (2) years of banking experience or a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting functions (required)
- Prior experience in banking, trust operations, or financial services (preferred)
- Administrative experience with strong attention to detail and organizational skills (preferred)
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
