V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Support Analyst - SAP FICO position based in Chicago, Illinois.

Reporting to the NA Application Support Manager, the Support Analyst – SAP-FICO will support both the Finance and Controller functions in daily/period-end closing activities. They will own and develop the configuration of the SAP FICO functions to ensure timely and accurate closing activities and financial reports. This role will manage projects for Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) by analyzing and mapping business requirements, processes, and objectives in SAP to improve business function and output results.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the configuration of SAP with strong functional knowledge in Accounting and Costing. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills.

• Certified management accountant (CPA/CMA) is highly valued.

• Bachelor’s degree is required, and a major in Finance or Costing is strongly preferred.
• Previous business/manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in S/4
  
  HANA is mandatory.
• Five (5) years of experience with SAP FICO with at least two end-to-end implementation projects is required. An understanding of accounting business processes is required.

• Finance New General Ledger, asset accounting, accounts payable (Automatic Payment Program exposure), and accounts receivable.
• Product costing.
• Cost center and Internal order accounting.
• Controlling Profitability Analysis (COPA).
• Integration of Finance and Controlling modules with other modules.
• Bank Accounting (experience with H2H & In-House Cash Management preferred).
• Taxation.
• Material ledger & Actual costing.
• Understanding of Master data.
• Knowledge of Fiori Apps.
• Understanding of CDS view in S/4 HANA.
• Knowledge and understanding in Management reporting.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivots, V-lookup, formulas).
• Knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and US GAAP.

• Sort out day-to-day queries of end users in SAP.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and map solutions in SAP.
• Manage configuration of SAP FICO settings (FI-AA, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-GL, CO-CCA, CO-PC, CO-ML, PS, etc.) and integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP).
• Analyze and provide functional support for reports, interfaces, and enhancements. Prepare design documents and specifications for ABAP when needed.
• Prepare the Business Blueprint Document for project implementations.
• Prepare business process flows and end-user training documents for SAP processes.
• Support Finance controllers in Standard Cost Estimation rollouts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional team members to resolve issues and provide SAP solutions.
• Provide training to new users on SAP transactions and processes.
